1. Ordering
Please ensure that all details provided during the ordering process are accurate and complete. TTGB is not responsible for errors made during ordering. Once an order is confirmed, changes are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
2. Payment
All online payments are processed securely outside our website through the Stripe payment gateway. Please refer to Stripe's terms and conditions and privacy policy for more information. Payments must be completed before an order is confirmed.
Prices are in New Zealand dollars. TTGB is not currently registered for GST; if this changes, prices shown will include GST and your receipt will show the GST amount.
3. Product images & design replication
Images on the website are for illustrative purposes only. Actual products may vary slightly in appearance and packaging due to the handmade nature of our goods.
TTGB does not replicate cake designs exactly from images found on the internet or designs created by other bakers, for copyright and ethical reasons. We use inspiration to create a unique version while maintaining the essence of the requested design.
Custom cakes will always include our creative input and may differ slightly due to the artistic nature of baking. Variations in colour, structure and decoration are to be expected. If you choose a design from TTGB's own catalogue, replication will be more accurate as it is our original work.
4. Allergens & dietary information
While we strive to accommodate dietary requirements, our kitchen handles common allergens, including but not limited to nuts, dairy, gluten, eggs and sesame. We cannot guarantee an allergen-free product. Please enquire directly before placing an order if you have specific dietary needs.
5. Cancellation & order modifications
Orders can be cancelled or modified within 24 hours of placing the order without any additional charges. After this period, we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee to cover ingredient and labour costs. Custom or specialty cake orders may not be eligible for cancellation if production has already begun.
6. Collection & delivery
Customers are responsible for ensuring that orders are collected or received at the agreed time and location. Once an order leaves our premises, TTGB is not responsible for any damage incurred during transportation or handling by the customer or a courier, though we will always help you raise a claim where a courier is at fault.
7. Returns & refund policy
We take pride in the quality and freshness of our products. However, we understand that issues can arise:
- Returns: due to the perishable nature of our products, we do not accept returns for change of mind.
- Refunds: refunds are processed only where a product is incorrect, spoilt or damaged during delivery. Please contact us within 24 hours of receiving your order with photographic evidence to initiate a refund request.
- Incorrect orders: if you receive an incorrect order, please contact us immediately so we can resolve the issue.
- Cancellation: if an order is cancelled after the baking process has started, it cannot be refunded.
Our aim is your complete satisfaction, and we will endeavour to resolve any issue that arises with your order. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method and can take 5–10 business days to appear.
8. Liability
TTGB is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, damage or expenses arising out of or in connection with our products or your use of our website. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
